7 Ways to Boost Your Facebook Organic Traffic
A lot of entrepreneurs assume that they need to pay Facebook to get people to visit their page. While you can use Facebook’s paid ads to target your ideal audience, Facebook organic traffic is also possible—but it’s easier said than done. Luckily, these seven tips will help you get more organic visitors from Facebook without having to shell out any money at all. I use this software to get my Facebook organic traffic.
1) Add Social Signals
Did you know that Facebook organic traffic accounts for an estimated 20% of Facebook’s overall organic traffic? Also, did you know that your social media network is actually considered a social signal in Google Analytics? For example, if you have 100 followers on Twitter, those are counted as a social signal.
Every time someone likes your content or tweets about it, it counts towards your social signal. You can take advantage of having a large social network by creating and promoting quality content on each platform.
People will then like and share your posts, which increases your audience size. When people are interested in what you have to say or show them, they’ll pay attention to what comes next… like visiting your website! 2) Start a Group
Starting a Facebook group can be an excellent way to boost your Facebook organic traffic. While it may take time and hard work, these groups provide long-term, sustainable results. Here are some tips on starting your own Facebook group. You can also advertise things like Online Social Media Jobs That Pay $25 – $50 Per Hour. No Experience is Required. Work At Home.
Before you get started, think about what you want from your new group (no, not just friends and likes). What is it that you are passionate about? Have there been any major changes in your industry or community lately? If so, ask yourself if there’s anything that needs addressing or fostering.
3) You can Get Facebook Organic Traffic By Answer Questions
The best way to get traffic is by solving people’s problems. Find out what they want and give it to them. The easier you make their lives, solve their problems, or entertain them; the more successful your business will be.
Once you have people engaged with your content on social media, find out what they need and provide it for them. Keep in mind that Facebook is not a one-way communication channel but rather a conversation between you and your customers/followers/friends.
While listening doesn’t get as much recognition as talking, it can prove just as valuable when trying to figure out how do I get Facebook traffic?
4) Join Groups To Access some Facebook Organic Traffic
Facebook groups are a great way to network with people in your industry. Chances are that you’ll find plenty of Facebook users who are also bloggers and want to grow their audience. If you post valuable content regularly, they’ll probably share it with their followers, which is great for your Facebook organic traffic. You can also use Facebook groups to find out more about what types of content-specific people like—and then create it! For example, if you join a parenting group, you might learn that parents really love lists and tips. Next time you publish an important post, craft it into a list and pitch it to relevant Facebook groups. It’s sure to be a hit!
5) Post at the Right Time of Day Will Help You Get Facebook Organic Traffic
Facebook organic traffic can spike if you post at certain times of day. A 2016 study from Socialbakers found that some Facebook users are more active on weekday mornings and early evenings, while others—the folks with kids, say—spend more time online on Saturdays and Sundays.
If you want to boost your Facebook traffic without paying for ads, targeting a specific time of day is one way to do it. When researching popular times for posting content, look at when other pages in your niche are getting engagement.
Chances are they know something you don’t! If they’re scheduling their posts around major life events—when people have more free time than usual—there might be some value in doing so as well.
6) Post Videos
Facebook videos have become more prominent than ever. Videos are a great way to get people interested in your products and also it is an easy way to increase your Facebook organic traffic. It may seem like everyone already has a Facebook account, but that’s far from true.
Over half of Americans on Facebook don’t actively use it. This suggests there are still plenty of potential customers who could benefit from seeing your product videos on their News Feeds. So, post videos!
Make sure they’re native (non-embedded) videos, and make sure you try multiple video types—they perform differently depending on what you’re marketing and why people might want it.
7) Use the T Tab
Facebook’s organic traffic can be difficult to track. Unfortunately, there’s no magic key that unlocks it all. But there are a number of ways you can boost your Facebook organic traffic—from using Facebook’s built-in metrics to using external ones.
